Membership in Growers National Cooperative is simple, just follow the steps below:
- Complete a membership application. The application can be obtained from any of our authorized representatives. Each applicant is required to pay a one-time membership fee.
- Become a member of one of the Class B Association Members. The list can be found under the Sponsoring Associations page of our website. If already a member of one shown, please provide the authorized representative a copy of your membership ID number.

As a prospective member of GNC, there are a few things we want you to know:
- Authorized representatives of the cooperative are not allowed to promise, estimate, or guarantee any patronage refund from the cooperative, either directly or indirectly, in any year;
- We do not want you to purchase any product or service with the hope, promise, or expectation that you may get or be entitled to a patronage dividend;
- Patronage dividend, if any, and as authorized by the GNC Board of Directors, will comply with state insurance regulations, the Standard Reinsurance Agreement issued by RMA, and other applicable cooperative regulations;
- It is not necssary to be a member of a cooperative to purchase any products endorsed or offered by an authorized representative of the cooperative;
- Operational, management, and day-to-day decisions of the cooperative will be governed by the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, the Board of Directors, and the vote of the members, not by the authorized representative enrolling you; and
- As a member of GNC, I am not required to purchase my crop insurance through it in order to receive a patronage dividend.
